Blustery Days....

Oh How I Love Them!!!
The Wind, The Rain, The Falling Leaves...

The perfect day to work on my rag quilts....

Play with the embellisher....

making pretty pieces of handmade fabric with silks, organza, lame, metallic fibers, soy silk, yarns and other pretties....

Then stitching all over the surface
and applying heat to create some magic....

which will now be cut into hearts, and stars, Christmas trees to make beautiful Victorian Christmas Gift Tags.

If time permits....
I just might work on my kitting skills. I really want to knit my entire family socks for Christmas this year.
Do corgis wear socks?????

Now put on your raincoat and boots.... and go jump in the puddles. It will make your heart smile!

  2. Love those rich colours, the glitter and sparkle!

Good luck with knitting the socks - isn't it quite involved, requiring 4 needles? I think I knitted a pair many, many years ago. BFN. Lesley

  4. Well, we are still having warm, dry, sunny weather here, but when we get a mud puddle, I'll jump in one for you!
Your yarn is gorgeous and yes, Corgis can wear sox! But will they, that is the question.
You are always so busy at something fun. Can't wait to see what happens here.

Lovely colours and fibres and threads Cathie, I hope I get a gorgeous tag!!! (hint, hint)

I am excited this morning ... I won a monster from Guzzisue. I whispered to Custard the cat that he is getting a new playmate! Big mistake! I can't stop him cartwheeling round my sewing room and he is being very annoying! Hope the postman hurries ...

Have a good day sweet one
