Can a Lobster become a Patchwork Beast???

Jude's (Spirit Cloth) Patchwork Beasts workshop started yesterday.  

I'm wondering.....
is a Lobster considered a Beast???

In  MY ocean he  is!

    a beast, you say? balderdash, I say! aren't lobsters the chickens of the ocean? oh, maybe not... i think that's tuna... I'm confused... okay maybe lobsters can be beasts... these are tough existential-type questions you are pondering over here on your little blog!...
