Journal Page Progress...

I think I'm about done with the leaves.

Now..... what to do with the background?

I put a bit of shading around the edges
of the leaves.

But now it needs more.
Some color blocking?

Maybe an autumn poem
or two?

I don't know.

I just don't know.

The Idaho Beauty said...: Lovely, just lovely. That shading mimicking shadows really adds so much. I agree the white background needs something, maybe some stippling (and no I do not mean quilting stippling!) or pine needles or something that looks like pavement or gravel.
