Cloth Bookmaking Workshop in Asheville

Only took 3 hours to get here from Raleigh. And what a beautiful drive - top down, fresh, crisp air, and lots to look at.

After check in, I spent two relaxing hours riding on a trolley through Asheville, followed by a few hours meandering through Galleries, artist studios, and bookstores. I did finally stop for some dinner, before heading back to prepare for the workshop tomorrow.

I do love the organic energy of this place.

TOMORROW: Cloth bookmaking workshop in the River Arts District all day. After that I am planning on taking a nice long by a drive on the Blue Ridge Parkway for some solitude and a sunset.
