1,2,3 Like a Bird I Sing...

'Cause you've given me the most beautiful set of wings!!!

I don't know what the deal is - but I just can't manage to "sit still" long enough to do anything productive.  I've been working on these dang birdies forever it seems.  They were supposed to be done two weeks ago and I'm still sewing on wings!  I did have to re-do them because I did not stuff them firm enough.  Really firm stuffing makes all the difference in the quality. THESE BIRDIES ARE FIRM!!

I AM  going to give one away - I haven't forgotten.  I just need to finish it first.  And because of the delay, I'm gonna add a few goodies to the prize!  Giveaway will be posted Saturday night.

Besides that, life is - well, continuing.  I'm finding myself in one of those "valleys" right now. Just gonna leave it at that.  Hope you're enjoying "peaks" and that YOUR muse is singing!

"I'm so glad that you're here today,
'Cause tomorrow I might have to go
and fly away....... fly away......."

Your firm birdies are beautiful and I hope my posting here makes me eligable for the give away!!!!
I love the stitches and needle in your banner too!
And your sewing assistant on the side bar is hysterical. I just noticed her!
I hope you leap from the valley onto a peak very soon now.

Must be all the beautiful weather! I'm having trouble being creative, too! Hope we both soar out of the valley soon!

Love the birds!
When you live in the Midwest, the summer weather is super distracting from indoor creating, don't you think? Seems like from the end of the Christmas season we are waiting impatiently for the weather to change and we are enjoying the warm again.

I've missed you--but I hear you loud and clear! I have been in the "end of school" mode and only working and not having sewing or corgi fun lately! I hope yours is passing--mine has until the 23rd of June--then I will be kicking up my heels and smiling! Love, love, love the birds!
